A Plug-in is a software compenent delivered to AE which offers more functionality to the application. Although many Plug-ins are created and furnished by way of third birthday party companies, no longer they all cost cash. A plug-in can also be refered to as an addon or an extension and can be confused with Presets, motion photograph Libraries or maybe Scripts.
