SeaMonkey is an open-source cross-platform Internet suite, based on the same source code as its predecessor, Mozilla Application Suite. It includes a web browser, e-mail and news client, a HTML editor, and an IRC client. In the Window menu you can instantly access the browser (SeaMonkey Navigator), mail and groups (shares code with Mozilla Thunderbird), HTML editor (SeaMonkey Composer), address book and IRC chat (ChatZilla). SeaMonkey uses a high amount of CPU and memory resources, but this is expected to some extent. It has a well-organized online documentation file, and its response time is very good. SeaMonkey is a web-browser, advanced e-mail and newsgroup client, IRC chat client, and HTML editing made simple — all your Internet needs in one application. The mail supports multiple accounts, junk detection, an address book, message filters, while the Composer features four tabs – normal, HTML tags, HTML code and browser preview.
